About me
I am a Royal Society University Research Fellow at the School of Mathematics within the University of Edinburgh.

I am a member of the Analysis Group and of the Maxwell Centre.
My research interests are in general relativity, partial differential equations, and Lorentzian geometry. A large part of my research is concerned with the formation of singularities inside black holes and their geometric structure, as well as with the problem of global uniqueness of the time-evolution under the Einstein equations, which is also known as the strong cosmic censorship conjecture. I also have a strong interest in high-frequency solutions and wave packets for hyperbolic partial differential equations.
I am accepting new PhD students starting in autumn 2025. Interested candidates are encouraged to apply to our PhD programme in analysis at the University of Edinburgh. See also here.
